Xiaomi has launched its new smartphone, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, in China alongside the Xiaomi 15S Pro.
The new Civi 5 model features a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a large 6000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging, and a sophisticated Leica-branded triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor.
Key Features
The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro features a 6.55-inch 1.5K (1236×2750 pixels) micro-curved OLED display. This vibrant screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support.
For enhanced durability, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and features slim 1.6mm bezels. Inside the smartphone, it is powered by an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Civi 5 Pro runs on HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15.
Camera and Battery
For those who are keen on taking photos, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro comes with a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup. This includes a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.63 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS) support, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide-angle lens.
On the front, there is a 50MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and autofocus support. The device is powered by a 6000mAh battery, which supports 67W wired fast charging.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro’s 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model starts at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 35,700) in China.
The 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model is priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 39,300), while the higher-end 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model is priced at CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs. 42,800).
The smartphone is available in attractive color options like Black, Cherry Blossom Pink, Iced Americano, Nebula Purple, and White.
